Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
This is another edition of the writing contest based on the digital art made by @xpilar, and it will be a continuation of last week’s story because it is themed, Lost in Space II. I hope you enjoy reading…

Greg waking up from his sleep puzzled at the dream he’s had, the horror of being lost in space and struggling to survive. Greg did not sleep through to find out if he eventually made it out of space; he was so terrified he had to stand up immediately.

Questions trailing down in his mind, yet no answer in mind. The most important question yet at this point is the one that pertains to his future.
What is it going to be, Greg?
Are you still going for the astrological studies or something else, like the family business?
He knew he could not tell his dad about his dream; it would only strengthen his dad’s motive of Greg taking over the family business. Greg needed answers and he needs it fast because his future was at stake.

After consulting with some friends, and senior colleagues in the field, Greg began to see the essence of being an astronaut. He soon learns that nothing you do is without risk, and risk is something you face every now and then. We cannot run away from our dreams because of the risk involved, rather the risk guides us into threading with caution. With these words of wisdom, Greg was enlightened and encouraged to go with his dream of being an astronaut, whether he will be lost in space or not, it is worth the risk.

So, Greg decided to become an astronaut against all odds and circumstances around him. He was willing to bear the risk involved with the job. He hoped for a smooth run though, as anyone would but if the worse came, he was ready. Apart from being lost in space, a lot of other things could go wrong that could lead to destruction, but we hope for a better fate for Greg.
