Springtime snowstorms are in as Icelanders are reminded that summer is just a "hearsay" or some "folk lore" that the old and mentally ill speak of!
Good morning STEEMIT blockchain and the artistic soul's home on the Internet, the #WOX community PREPARE TO FEAST ON THE VERY LATEST IN NANO-PHOTOGRAPHY
I started to re-post a post I made earlier today as per #art-venture s advice on how to properly tag my post.
#XPILAR of course, =)
i don't know where the other post went, but I started off with the same photo's then went in a totally other direction as I had so many of these "FU**" SNOW photographs that might be different and unusual for many to take a look at. Anyway, no point in waiting, let us feast!
Let us get this party started with this snowplow going about his business at 3 AM at night, preparing to clean the streets of Akureyri Iceland
Here we see the reason for that man's early morning.
Iceland's streets are filled with snow, however, it feels very “springy” now.
Imagine working on the second floor of that neighborhood shopping mall!
Here is a very “dramatic” and “lively” image I took during a walkabout in my hometown of Akureyri, it has hay bales in the middle of an apartment street, however of course covered in the night's snow.
below is a garbage can, however the proportions of where the woman is standing and the dumpster bin and the height of the snow make it a very "thematic image" to be "wordy".
The same spot almost, ("Dirty Aids-Voll") (the name, given as a joke by the locals after an aids infected prostitute got arrested there sucking on some D around Christmas. LOL! (cringeworthy, I know, I use LOL now) deal with it!
Ouch! The inhabitants there were, certainly.“insert pun” . ¨
I've got nothing, as a testament to that few actually read through a post line by line.
And, uh, by the way. If you are reading this intently and giving it your fullest attention. Stop it now!
These are nice photos, and I'm walking you through them as I smoke a joint and ramble, this is at least DEFINITELY NOT financial advice at least!
Oh! Yes, as a test to that, come up with and comment A “Caption” for the image of the snowed-in doorway. All Suggestions will be upvoted and user followed as well as there might be “rewards”. And it's fun, come on!
You don't always have to have the money incentive, O.K then I will send that days' delegation “fees” to the winning wordsmith.
0.239 STEEM FOR THE BEST CAPTION!
I found the image above Romantic, in so many ways.
I can, like, come up with 5-10 love stories somehow including a meeting at that bench beside the neighborhood “Kiosk” in windy weather, sheltering.
At least t´s beautiful!
This shot of the downtown “terrace gardens” even shocked this Photographer, and I've seen some weird sh*t in my lifetime! I'm pretty proud of it to brag bout it myself, your words of inspiration and adoration are expected!
To the owner and inhabitants of this shed, I can only, (what are you going to make fun of the poor Eythor? Come on? You have always been sh*t broke!)!
This is a rather “grim” image of a local garage or storage unit, I can almost certainly say that no one lives in that “hut”
Yes, that’s Iceland, in March, the land my forefathers said was “good enough” and settled, (or fled).
I am so looking forward to the summer. I am starting to sow the seeds for the summer, I think I'll post about it, naming it Arctic gardening!
We recently had a “lovers” related holiday here in Iceland, one which is specific to the country and I won't be detailing further, but it's like a patriarchal men-themed “day” "the man's day” (kind of cringeworthy).
It's almost so cringeworthy that I will be celebrating it profoundly from now on!
(we also have, “women's say”) (what do ya think, common, someone has to sell flowers).
Well, at around midnight, someone was throwing away garbage bags of roses as I was walking past him. I, of course, struck up a conversation doped out of my mind, scaring the poor guy, he eventually “agreed” to hand me some 50 pink roses or so,
The next morning, I shot my first pink flowers photography of 2022 outside in the snow!
Thank you all for reading! Comments, are appreciated and will likely result in me commenting some awesome sh*t on your very next post, something “family-friendly” even!
My auntie back in Denmark, when I was a little kid, would joke around and say things like "Summer fell on a Tuesday, last year!" and such. Your snowy photos remind me a bit of that... although it's not AS cold in Denmark as in Iceland.
Be well, and stay warm!
Hi @eythor-photo, that is better now we can see you around, it is beautiful to see such untouched snow and to know that there are still area where in winter people have snow. On other hand I can imagine that people in Iceland long for summer and sun.

It is as if I had walked in this city with you who smoked and didn't set limits while talking, among the wonderful snow scenes in the cold weather. It's like you're actually typing while walking. I dreamed that I was an employee at the mall, that would be a good adventure :D The hay bales look like sliced pastry rolls :)) It's the first time I've seen such a March, thanks to you :D
