Results of 2021

This post will be voluminous. In short, 2021 can be called the year of the study of courtyard spaces. And also this year I focused on the study of the metaphysics of the photographic image, that is, I delved into the inner world of the image, into the philosophy of photography.
Courtyard spaces in spring and autumn are the best memories for the whole year! But we must not lose sight of the rest of the events. I learned how frequencies work, which ones can be connected to, and which ones should be avoided. I also found out my efficiency limit, which can be pumped.
In general, I did not make a tough selection, but I will just tell you in simple words what my year consisted of.
At the very beginning of 2021, I took a photo, which eventually became the best for the whole year.

Then, as usual, I traveled through the abandoned and not villages of the Veliky Ustyug district.

Winter turned out to be abnormally frosty. I captured the industrial zone beautifully for the first time.

I shot a lot on telephoto lens.

The best publication on the statistics of all social networks was a series of pictures about the night frosty village of Kichmengsky Gorodok.

And then there were snowfalls.

After which I fulfilled my promise and reshot the Remselmash microdistrict in Vologda.

There were also business trips around the region.

Spring came exactly according to the calendar and I was overwhelmed by street photography.

But then suddenly I switched to studying one of the directions in street photography - Full Frontal Flesh, that is, a photo with a flash during the day.

There were also event reports in the form of a flooded park.

And then I plunged into the courtyard spaces...

I missed an ice drift in Vologda, but managed to get on an ice drift on the Sukhona River.

I have been to my homeland many times, but mostly for work.

And in parallel, I studied the courtyards of the city in which I live now.

Suddenly, everything blossomed sharply and pictures of a reportage-postcard nature began to appear in my posts.

I immersed myself in it so much that my efficiency was at the limit.

Summer has come – the season of bright nights and lush foliage. But I decided to continue shooting yards at night.

And during the day I traveled to various interesting places.

St,Petersburg International Economic Forum. A lot of work and incredible impressions. Here I proved myself one hundred percent!

It was difficult to get back on track.

The heat...solar eclipse...

Graphics began to flash less often, but there was less chaos and more aesthetics in it.

And then a big trip to the districts of the region.

And a long-awaited vacation at home.

Of course, there were villages!

Because of the heat, I had to swim everywhere. It also reached the Kubensky Lake.

The study of courtyards in the summer was not very intensive, but still occasionally managed to walk.

There was a moment in the summer when I got a little discouraged and was punished by the system, but then I got out and entered the usual working channel.

During the whole year, I saw the nature of the Vologda region from a height only once.

After a small reboot in the form of the consequences of the covid revaccination, I rushed back into battle.

The sun is lower, the shadows are thicker - it's time for contrasting street photography!

And then autumn arrived.

Postcards are always needed!

And there is already the first snow.

Then something hit me and I started shooting in jpeg.

Then it let go.

And I began to study the blue hour.

Then another wave hit: night street photography.

In the process, I took pictures of the carved palisade, although I was getting close to it for a very long time.

Well, according to tradition, reports with festive illumination.

I don't even know what will happen next year. To make plans is to make God laugh. But no one forbids wishing for something.
I want to strengthen my efficiency in 2022, complete all the remaining yards of Vologda and explore even more new things in the photographic business. And I also want to go even further in terms of studying the philosophy and metaphysics of photography and life in general.
