Moonrise in Dudinskoye

Where would you like to film the full moon rising? I've already tried all the main locations in the city and started looking for something further away. And then I remembered about the bridge over the Toshnya River in the village of Dudinskoye in the Vologda region.

I opened The Photographer's Ephemeris application, checked the sunrise point and the bridge line, and the lines coincide in a certain period of time!

I have to go! At first, it seemed that the moon was too far away and would not connect to the bridge line, but the application was never wrong.

The only thing that confused me was whether the moon would be high enough above the horizon at the time of its passage inside the bridge pillars.

I have already come across such a thing that the moon came out only for a few hours and was very low all the time from sunrise to sunset.

While waiting for the right position of the celestial body, I made several views of the bridge from the high bank of the river.

The disadvantage of this location is that there is no clean space on both sides of the suspension bridge, that is, it is occupied by a forest or a height difference.

And so the moon came out. Very similar to Saturn.

It's good when the moon is low – it doesn't go into overexposure.

But this time the moon rose high enough and was in the right place for me.

It was only because of the height that it became too bright...
