| Сегодня я расскажу об экскурсионной поездке, которую организаторы назвали «Долина грёз». Это был однодневный автобусный тур, в который мы с друзьями отправились 8 июля. Он включал три главных точки: Подмоклово, Серпухов и Тарусу. | Today I will tell you about the sightseeing trip, which the organizers called "Valley of Dreams". It was a one day bus tour that my friends and I went on July 8th. It included three main points: Podmoklovo, Serpukhov and Tarusa. |
| Начали мы с церкви Рождества Богородицы в селе Подмоклово. Как только церковь показалось в окнах автобуса, раздалось восхищённое «Ах!» | We started from the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the village of Podmoklovo. As soon as the church appeared in the windows of the bus, there was an admiring “Wow!” |
| Это архитектурное чудо появилось здесь в XVIII веке. Эта церковь в форме ротонды совершенно не похожа на традиционную архитектуру православных храмов. Князь Григорий Фёдорович Долгоруков – дипломат, проведший долгие годы в Европе. Большой интерес к архитектуре того времени привёл его к замыслу построить в своих землях необычный храм. Архитекторами стали иностранцы Лоренц фон Фикин и Андрей Шульц. | This architectural marvel appeared here in the 18th century. This rotunda-shaped church is completely different from the traditional architecture of Orthodox churches. Prince Grigory Fedorovich Dolgorukov is a diplomat who spent many years in Europe. A great interest in the architecture of that time led him to the idea to build an unusual temple in his lands. The architects were foreigners Lorenz von Fikin and Andrey Shults. |
| Строили храм из местного окского известняка. Скульптуры евангелистов и апостолов, которыми украшен храм, были выполнены русскими мастерами. | The temple was built from local Oka limestone. The sculptures of the evangelists and apostles that decorate the temple were made by Russian craftsmen. |
| В 80-е годы 20 века часть скульптур была разбита. | In the 80s of the 20th century, some of the sculptures were broken. |
| Сейчас на галерее храма установлены восстановленные скульптуры, а сохранившиеся оригиналы хранятся внутри храма. | Now restored sculptures are installed on the gallery of the temple, and the surviving originals are stored inside the temple. |

| Далее нас ждал город Серпухов, древние город, первое упоминание о котором было в 1339 году. Я уже бывала в Серпухове, но зимой. Мне интересны были теперь летние впечатления. | Next, we were waiting for the city of Serpukhov, an ancient city, the first mention of which was in 1339. I have already been to Serpukhov, but in winter. I was now interested in summer impressions. |
| Конечно, мы поднялись на Соборную гору, откуда великолепный вид на храмы центральной части Серпухова. | Of course, we climbed Cathedral Hill, from where there is a magnificent view of the temples of the central part of Serpukhov. |
| Здесь же можно посмотреть сохранившийся фрагмент стены серпуховского Кремля. | Here you can also see a preserved fragment of the wall of the Serpukhov Kremlin. |
| После обеда в одном из ресторанов города, мы побывали в Высоцком монастыре, основанном также в XIV веке. | After lunch in one of the city's restaurants, we visited the Vysotsky Monastery, also founded in the 14th century. |
| Завершали нашу поездку мы в небольшом городке на берегу Оки Таруса. Я давно хотела в нём побывать. | We completed our trip in a small town on the banks of the Oka Tarusa. I have long wanted to visit it. |
| Таруса относится уже к Калужской области. Сюда не подведена железная дорога. Это не способствовало развитию города. Но помогло тому, что облик города во многом сохранился с XIX века. | Tarusa already belongs to the Kaluga region. There is no railroad here. This did not help his development. But it helped that the appearance of the city was largely preserved from the 19th century. |
| Таруса в 20-ом веке стала излюбленным местом, своеобразной творческой мастерской для многих писателей, поэтов, переводчиков, художников. Здесь жили Марина и Анастасия Цветаевы, Борис Пильняк, Константин Паустовский, Николай Заболоцкий, Виктор Борисов-Мусатов, Василий Ватагин и многие другие. Мы начали нашу экскурсию по городу с печального места памяти. На местном кладбище мы подошли к могилам некоторых знаменитых жителей Тарусы. | Tarusa in the 20th century became a favorite place, a kind of creative workshop for many writers, poets, translators, artists. Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaeva, Boris Pilnyak, Konstantin Paustovsky, Nikolai Zabolotsky, Viktor Borisov-Musatov, Vasily Vatagin and many others lived here. We started our tour of the city from a sad place of memory. At the local cemetery, we approached the graves of some famous residents of Tarusa. |

| Виды на Оку с высокого берега были великолепны. | The views of the Oka from the high bank were magnificent. |
| На этом высоком берегу установлены памятники писателям, жившим в Тарусе. На фотографии памятник Марине Цветаевой. Именно она назвала эти места Долиной грез. | On this high bank there are monuments to writers who lived in Tarusa. The photo shows a monument to Marina Tsvetaeva. It was she who called these places the Valley of Dreams. |
| Чуть далее на высокой набережной стоят памятники Белле Ахмадулиной и Константину Паустовскому. | little further on the high embankment there are monuments to Bella Akhmadulina and Konstantin Paustovsky. |
| Таруса сейчас очень популярное место для отдыха. Мы были в выходной день. Все центральные улицы были заставлены машинами приезжих. При этом ощущается некая богемная атмосфера в этом городке. | Tarusa is now a very popular holiday destination. We were on a day off. All the central streets were crowded with cars of visitors. At the same time, there is a certain bohemian atmosphere in this town. |
| Мы немного погуляли по району с одноэтажными домами, утопающими в зелени. | We walked a bit around the area with one-story houses immersed in greenery. |
| Здесь стараются сохранять народное искусство. В этом доме сохраняют искусство вышивки – цветная перевить. | Here they try to preserve folk art. In this house, the art of embroidery is preserved - color interlacing. |
| Церковь Воскресения Христова. | Church of the Resurrection of Christ. |
| Завершением была водная прогулка на небольшом кораблике по Оке. | The end was a boat trip on a small boat along the Oka. |
| У одной из моих подруг в этот день был День рождения. Мы устроили небольшой фуршет с шампанским в её честь. | One of my friends had a birthday that day. We hosted a small champagne buffet in her honor. |
| Я была занята поздравлениями и не фотографировала. Но наши сотоварищи по экскурсии выложили потом в общий чат эту фотографию. | I was busy congratulating and didn't take pictures. But our companions on the tour later posted this photo in the general chat. |
| Во время экскурсии мы проплывали Поленово, расположенное на противоположном от Тарусы берегу Оки. Вдали белеет церковь в Бехово, построенная по проекту Василия Поленова. | During the excursion, we sailed past Polenovo, located on the opposite bank of the Oka from Tarusa. In the distance, the church in Bekhovo, built according to the project of Vasily Polenov, turns white. |
| Мы остались очень довольны этой поездкой. | We were very pleased with this trip. |
