| 17 июля 2023 года мы с подругой побывали на Валааме. Мы были в круизе по Ладоге и Онеге, Валаам входил в нашу программу. В первой половине дня мы шли на экскурсию под дождем. Но были вознаграждены великолепной погодой во второй половине. | On July 17, 2023, my friend and I visited Valaam. We were on a cruise along Ladoga and Onega, Valaam was on our program. In the first half of the day, we went on an excursion in the rain. But we were rewarded with great weather in the second half. |
| Мы на небольшом теплоходе отправились к монастырю. В течение получаса мы плыли мимо берегов этого удивительного архипелага. | We went to the monastery on a small boat. For half an hour, we sailed past the shores of this amazing archipelago. |
| Рядом с большим островом можно было видеть скопления совсем маленьких островков. Что интересно, все они были покрыты сосновыми лесами. Даже те, что составляли лишь несколько квадратных метров. | Near the large island, you could see clusters of very small islands. Interestingly, they were all covered with pine forests. Even those that were only a few square meters. |
| На некоторых участках можно было хорошо рассмотреть скальную основу островов. Удивительно, как на тонком слое почвы над камнями разрослись обширные леса. | In some areas, you could clearly see the rocky foundation of the islands. It is amazing how vast forests grew on a thin layer of soil above the stones. |
