| В отличие от острова Кижи, где нас всё наше пребывание поливал сильный дождь, на Валааме мы и под дождь попали и солнцу порадовались. | Unlike the island of Kizhi, where heavy rain watered us all our stay, on Valaam we got caught in the rain and rejoiced at the sun. |
| Я покажу несколько фотографий одного из уголков этого прекрасного острова на Ладоге. Глядя на них, даже не верится, что пару часов назад шёл дождь. Мы уже возвращались с первой экскурсии, на которой любовались природой Валаама. Там надо было довольно долго идти по лесу. И вот, вдруг, за деревьями показалась вода Ладожского озера. | I will show you some photos of one of the corners of this beautiful island on Ladoga. Looking at them, I can’t even believe that it was raining a couple of hours ago. We were already returning from the first excursion, on which we admired the nature of Valaam. It took a long time to walk through the woods. And then, suddenly, the water of Lake Ladoga appeared behind the trees. |
| На Валааме очень много сосен. Почему-то одна из них на каменистом берегу была сильно изогнута. | There are a lot of pines on Valaam. For some reason, one of them on a rocky shore was strongly curved. |
| На Валааме действуют строгие правила для охраны его уникальной природы. Можно только любоваться, нельзя ничего трогать и срывать. Мы с удовольствием любовались и вдыхали чистейший воздух. | Valaam has strict rules to protect its unique nature. You can only admire, you can’t touch or tear anything. We admired with pleasure and inhaled the purest air. |
| После того как тучи разошлись, синее небо окрасило в свою синеву и озеро. | After the clouds dispersed, the blue sky painted the lake in its blueness. |
