| В Твери мы с друзьями побывали этим летом. Одно из интересных красивых мест – два храма напротив друг друга. Они представляют две мировых религии и построены в разных стилях. | My friends and I visited Tver this summer. One of the interesting beautiful places is two temples opposite each other. They represent two world religions and are built in different styles. |
| Здание с ярко-бирюзовой крышей – мечеть, построенная в начале 20 века. Напротив неё кирпичное здание – католический костел Преображения Господня. | The building with the bright turquoise roof is a mosque built in the early 20th century. Opposite it is a brick building - the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord. |
| Тверская соборная мечеть была открыта в 1906 году. Её построили по образцовому проекту архитектора Б. Г. Поляка в мавританском стиле. В 1935 году мечеть закрыли, а в здании размещались разные учреждения. Довольно долго здесь был ресторан «Восток». Сейчас это вновь действующая мечеть. Совсем недавно её отреставрировали. | The Tver Cathedral Mosque was opened in 1906. It was built according to the exemplary design of the architect B. G. Polyak in the Moorish style. In 1935, the mosque was closed, and the building housed various institutions. For quite a long time there was a restaurant “Vostok”. Now it is a functioning mosque again. It was recently restored. |

The current building in the modernist and Gothic style was built on the same site in the early 2000s. |
