| 1 мая 2021 года во время поездки в Вологду вторую половину дня мы посвятили прогулке по одному из красивых северных монастырей. Это Спасо-Прилуцкий Димитриев епархиальный монастырь , находящийся на окраине города. | On May 1, 2021, during a trip to Vologda, we devoted the afternoon to a walk through one of the beautiful northern monasteries. This is the Spaso-Prilutsky Dimitriev diocesan monastery , located on the outskirts of the city. |
| Монастырь расположен на берегу реки Вологда. Но и внутри монастыря есть небольшое водное пространство – монастырский пруд. | The monastery is located on the banks of the Vologda River. But even inside the monastery there is a small body of water - the monastery pond. |
| Предлагаю полюбоваться видом от стены на пруд и великолепные церкви Спасо-Прилуцкого монастыря. В центре – колокольня и Спасский собор. | В советское время монастырь использовали как исправительное учреждение, благо он окружен капитальными толстыми стенами. Сейчас монастырь возвращён церкви. Его отреставрировали. В 2021 году постройки и стены монастыря радовали свежей окраской. Очень нарядно смотрятся угловые разноцветные башни. | In Soviet times, the monastery was used as a correctional institution, since it is surrounded by capital thick walls. Now the monastery has been returned to the church. It has been restored. In 2021, the buildings and walls of the monastery delighted with fresh coloring. The multi-colored corner towers look very elegant. |

| Деревянная шатровая церковь не всегда находилась на территории монастыря. Это Успенская церковь, её перевезли в 1962 году из закрытого Александро-Куштского монастыря. Успенская церковь считается древнейшей сохранившейся деревянной шатровой церковью. | The wooden tent church was not always located on the territory of the monastery. This is the Assumption Church, it was moved in 1962 from the closed Alexander-Kushtsky Monastery. Assumption Church is considered the oldest surviving wooden tent church. |
| В центре видно купол ещё одной белокаменной церкви – церкви введения. | In the center you can see the dome of another white-stone church - the Church of the Introduction. |
