В апреле 2011 года мы с друзьями побывали в Вене. Великолепный пышный имперский город. Удивительно там было встретить весёлую современную архитектуру. В первый же день нас порадовали вот такие окошки.	In April 2011, my friends and I visited Vienna. A splendid, opulent imperial city. It was amazing to meet cheerful modern architecture there. On the very first day, we looked at such windows with surprise and joy.
Забавно, что большинство из них даже не настоящие, а выложены мозаикой – нарисованы. И все они разных форм и размеров. Одно даже в форме яблока.	It's funny that most of them are not even real, but lined with mosaics - drawn. And they are all different shapes and sizes. One is even in the shape of an apple.

Мы готовились к поездке и знали, что это за здание. Но если бы не знали, то ни за что не смогли бы догадаться.	We were preparing for the trip and knew what kind of building it was. But if we didn't know, we would never have guessed.
Это яркое весёлое игрушечное здание имеет утилитарное и немного пугающее в городе назначение. Это Мусоросжигательный завод Шпиттелау, расположенный в одном из центральных районов Вены. Он создавался для двух задач: утилизации мусора и обеспечения центрального теплоснабжения. А после реконструкции с участием венского художника и архитектора Фриденсрайха Хундертвассера, этот завод стал и архитектурной достопримечательностью Вены.	This bright, cheerful toy building has a utilitarian and slightly intimidating purpose in the city. This is the Spittelau Waste Incineration Plant, located in one of the central districts of Vienna. It was created for two purposes: waste disposal and providing district heating. And after the reconstruction with the participation of the Viennese artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, this factory became an architectural landmark of Vienna.
Для Хундертвассера очень важна была экология. Он согласился только с учетом, что установят современное оборудование, не наносящее вред окружающей среде. И это удалось. Завод в новом облике заработал в 1991 году.	For Hundertwasser, ecology was very important. He agreed only on the assumption that they would install modern equipment that would not harm the environment. And it succeeded. The plant in a new look started working in 1991.
Мы жили неподалёку и ни разу не почувствовали никаких запахов от этого сооружения. Но по мере развития технологий, позже нашего посещения, завод реконструировали для ещё лучшей экологичности (в 2012-2015 годах).	We lived nearby and never smelled any smells from this building. But with the development of technology, after our visit, the plant was reconstructed for even better environmental friendliness (in 2012-2015)

Конечно, архитектура Хундертвассера покорила наши сердца. Мы выделили время для осмотра других сооружений в Вене, созданных по проектам этого удивительного человека.	Of course, Hundertwasser's architecture won our hearts. We took the time to explore other buildings in Vienna, created according to the designs of this amazing person.
Полюбуйтесь на окна дома Хундертвассера-Кравины, расположенного по адресу: Кегельгассе 36-38, A-1030, на углу с Лёвенгассе 41-43. Этот жилой дом был построен в 1983-1986 годах.	Admire the windows of the Hundertwasser-Kravina House, located at Kegelgasse 36-38, A-1030, on the corner of Löwengasse 41-43. This residential building was built in 1983-1986.
