| Я в своей жизни видела не так много водопадов. Один из самых впечатляющих – водопад Каракая-Су в Кабардино-Балкарии. | I have not seen many waterfalls in my life. One of the most impressive is the Karakaya-Su waterfall in Kabardino-Balkaria. |

| Этот мощный водопад заявляет о себе еще на подходе, когда его даже не видно. На машине можно подъехать к импровизированной стоянке около моста через реку Калка, а дальше надо пройти по тропинке в ущелье. Отраженный скалами гул слышен ещё в начале пути. По мере приближения к водопаду, он становится всё громче. В какой-то момент кажется, что из-за скалы идёт белесый дым. Но вот за поворотом приоткрывается картина падающей с 30 метров с огромной силой взвеси воды и вымываемой горной породы. Дым – вовсе не дым, а брызги воды. | This powerful waterfall makes itself known even on the approach, when it is not even visible. You can drive up to an improvised parking lot near the bridge over the Kalka River by car, and then you need to walk along a path into the gorge. The roar reflected by the rocks is heard even at the beginning of the path. As you approach the waterfall, it becomes louder. At some point, it seems that whitish smoke is coming from behind the rock. But then, around the bend, a picture of a suspension of water and washed-out rock falling from 30 meters with enormous force opens up. The smoke is not smoke at all, but splashes of water. |

| А ещё очень запоминается скала справа от водопада. Вода и ветер создали на ней удивительные круговые складки, сложившиеся в фантастический портал. | And the rock to the right of the waterfall is also very memorable.
