We need much more apps on Steem
I ask ChatGPT the outlook of steem and the answer was the steem success is uncertain.

I have been thinking about new services on steem and something nice came to mind. I will talk about this later.
To make steem great again, I have been developing several apps and services. I want to summarize these apps.
1. playsteem
It is a mobile app for ios and android. It is a mobile version of steemit having some mobile features such as push notifications. Now only android version is available here:

2. AVLE
This is a rich blog app having several cool features such as 1:1 chat.

3. etainclub
This is an instant help app of which concept is very similar to the Uber app. A user asks help and the first person who accepts the request are connected. Its development has been put on hold due to other urgent matters.

This is more like the Patreon app where creators are connected to investors.

5. Steem Money
This is one that I mentioned at the beginning. Nowadays there are popular apps where users get rewards by doing something such as walking. People are trying to find such apps to earn money but they don't come to steemit. Steemit is the app applied the concept of the X to earn model. But Steemit is out of people's interest.
Why? I can say there are two things:
- no place to use small amount of steem they earn
- hard to register and use crypto exchanges
So my idea is very simple.
- We make a voting pool that votes on posts by new users. It is okay that the rewards are as small as ones of other X-to-earn apps.
- We make a shopping section inside the app so users can exchange the steem with real word products such as coffee coupon. So new users do not have to use any crypto exchanges. They simply buy in-app products.
I think it is the best way to get new users for the current situation. Many recent services are doing this strategy and collected many new users!

We can make many much more apps on Steem because Steem is so powerful blockchain. And we have to try innovative services. Otherwise steem will be forgottend by people. I think it is the best time to develop such services.

What STEEM needs most is to have a relationship with business. But it is very difficult to show a business that it can somehow use STEEM. This requires new, simple and clear solutions. For example, now there are many bloggers who want to make money on YouTube. They need thousands of views on their videos. We have a community that could give them those views. How to interest both parties?
You could create a site where anyone, paying with STEEM, would queue up their video for viewing. At the same time, people logging in with their STEEM account would watch these videos as if they were on TV and get STEEM for it. The amount paid by the author of the video would be distributed equally among all those who watch the video at that time. The price for putting your video in the queue would be dictated by the market. If an author wants his video to be viewed as quickly as possible, he needs to pay more than other authors whose videos are already in the queue, i.e. beat their bid.
Of course, you, as a developer of such a service, would receive your percentage.
Theoretically, such a service should work. However, in practice, it will be very difficult to find video creators willing to pay for views. This requires an advertising campaign.

Your proposals are very interesting, however, for me these types of applications are passive, that is, they do not generate or do not tend to generate much movement of capital, I think that a betting center could be developed within Steem, where people can betting on MLB, NBA games, even horse racing, there is a lot of public and a lot of capital moving in that world, it would be an excellent option for the online bettor.

IMO, this model is proven to be working. Many web3 companies are adpating this model to gather users. My idea is the same. First we need attentions from outside Steem. new users jump in steem and try to buy steem to earn more. I don't like the voting services but it is one of biggest services in steem for now. At least new users buy steem and delegate steem to a voting service like upvu.
Ultimately we prepare more attractve services to provide more valuable activities as well as rewards.
Your betting idea might be one of them. What I want is making steem shop or market inside an app, then users can buy and sell products with steem/sdb.
I understand friend, what we are clear about is that we must generate greater diversity in the use of Steem to attract the attention of people so that they are encouraged to invest.
