Hi, I am the developer of AVLE @etainclub.

I have implemented a WYSIWYG editor for AVLE. (https://avle.io)

I had hard time to select an editor because there is not a suitable editor for Flutter which is the framework used for AVLE.

The one I chose is html_editor_enhanced:

WYSIWYG Editor

You can still use the Markdown editor, but the default editor is the WYSIWYG editor. If you want to use the Markdown style, please press the "Markdown" on the top right as shown below:

In addition, according to @cryptopie's request, the default background color of the editor is black. You can also change this by pressing the "Light" on the top left as above.

Improvements

1. A variety of writing options: font size, font color. The font color appears correctly only in avle.io.

2. Improvements on mobile: notorious cursor problem has been resolved.

3. Improvements in speed: faster than markdown's speed

4. Pasting an image data has been resolved

Editing on Mobile devices

You have to click the arrow on top left or slide to the right to appear the full toolbar icons.

Needs to save new templates

The templates for markdown are not compatible with the new editor. So please save a new one for the new editor.

WYSIWYG Editor Issues

There are some issues. For example, buttons in a dialog overlaid on the editor cannot be clicked due to the compatibility issue between the editor and the recent Flutter. Due to this problem, dialogs appear on the bottom like this:
