Studies of color - Studies of masters of painting nº 3

Hello again! I hope this Tuesday has been a great day for everyone. I'm back with you, I happen to be trying to force myself to work more often on art, time is passing fast and we have to spend it on what we like, believe in us.

Today I have brought you another study of masters, I continue with Toulouse, I feel that there is much to learn and that it can bring me something for a project I am working on. I am interested in the gestuality of the brushstroke and the somewhat diluted colors in dialogue with solid blocks of paint and a very personal way of conceiving the lighting that results in almost magical or dreamlike spaces.

A little bit of the process.

The technique used to make this image has been acrylic paint on opaline cardboard and the registration has been done with a printer scanner.
