Trees Talk to Each Other 🌲🌳🌴 #club100

Hi Steemians 🌿

Many of you may know the information I will share, it will be a reminder for those who know and pleasant and thought-provoking information for those who do not 😊

A few years ago I learned that trees talk to each other. The fact that trees communicate with each other was one of the most unusual and interesting things I learned. This information about trees, which I think live on alone, is still very impressive to me.

And the conversation between the trees with each other is beyond "Hi, what's up". So, what kind of communication do these non-speaking and non-moving creatures have? They trade with each other, support each other, or fight each other.

The answer to how the communication between trees is as surprising as this information. Answer: Fungi. The fungi in the roots of the trees and the fungi around their roots provide this communication.

The relationship between fungi and trees is that the fungi provide the trees with the necessary nutrients and in return receive sugar. Scientists have revealed that this relationship is not as superficial as it seems.

Actually, there is a fungal network underground. In the system, which is like an underground internet network, trees can share their resources. Scientists have named this network "The Wood Wide Web". With this network, trees can communicate with each other.

So what's going on in this system? Older trees in this network are called parent trees. These large mother trees provide enough sugar to the seedlings that are in the shade and cannot get enough sugar. Thus, the seedlings can continue their viability. This is great solidarity. Also, It is an incredible support.

Another fascinating situation is that dying trees are diverting their resources into the fungal network. These resources transferred to the fungal network are used by neighboring trees. In other words, the tree that will die does not waste any of its resources, and even when it dies, it benefits other trees. This is a very admirable situation.

Not only trees but also plants use the fungal network. When a plant is attacked, for example by a disease or insect infestation, it releases chemicals. These chemicals reaching the fungal network form a warning system by communicating the threat situation to the neighbors. This is truly an amazing support mechanism.

So is everything going so well? Unfortunately, there are species in this network that use the fungal network for their own benefit. For example, some orchid species transfer the resources of the trees around them in this way.

There are also tree species that exhibit more dangerous behavior. For example, the black walnut tree is one of them. These types of trees spread poison, poisoning the trees around them. Thus, by creating a larger living space for itself, it becomes the sole owner of the resources. Oh, delicious but selfish black walnuts.

Yes, friends, as you can see, trees and plants, which are the quietest creatures, also have a very deep and powerful communication. Totally fascinating and thought-provoking information. After this information, every time I go to the forest, I can't help thinking. Who knows what conversations are going on between trees, what storms are breaking out from underground, while we are having a picnic or hiking 🌿

I hope you all enjoyed reading my post ✨
Thank you 🤗

Yes, I read your post with pleasure and found the knowledge about the communication of the trees very interesting.

I am very happy to hear your thoughts on my post and this information 😊 It is really interesting to know that there is a mysterious world of trees that are always around us 🌳

What you're saying here sounds like a bit of a scary sci-fi plot, but I remember already seeing books that deal with the issue of tree communication.
Nature is really extremely mysterious and I bet we humans, the little ants, are not aware even of 5% of its essence and secrets.
Have a wonderful end of the weekend! 🌳🌲💚

I totally agree with you, I don't think we know most of nature's secrets either. And as you said, this kind of information can always feel scary. Nature is much stronger and more systematic than it seems, and after all, it still survives despite humans 🌿

This communication between roots and fungi was scientifically verified, what they transport, the ancestors said, that network of nutrients that they share and transmit to us, when you are around them or in nature they transmit good energies and you feel relaxed.

Nature is so mysterious I think we only know a part of it, every day we learn something new.

Greetings and success!

You are right, it is exciting and fascinating to learn new things about nature every day. I'm sure that it will continue to amaze us with its wisdom. Thank you 💕

I've heard about - but you write so detailed and clear structured: thank you very much!

Your comment made me happy 😊 Thanks a lot for your kind words 🌸

Nice day

Thanks 🌼
