CONCURSO SEMANAL, CREANDO CUENTO / “LA CASA DE HUÉSPEDES” / SEMANA#33 / ORIGINAL DE @EMY.PETS05 / 29-07-2022 / #WORLDOFXPILAR

Saludos a todos los amigos de la comunidad de @worldofxpilar y muy especialmente al creador de este apasionante concurso que semana a semana nos hace volar la imaginación , nuestro amigo @adeljose!!!

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes mi historia titulada “LA CASA DE HUÉSPEDES” con la idea de seguir haciendo vida en esta excelente comunidad de #worldofxpilar y de compartir con el resto de maravillosos compañeros de concurso.

Como siempre es un gusto disfrutar semana a semana de todas las historias de los demás participantes lo que es una muy grata experiencia.

Paso a paso del arte que ilustra el relato:

Jonathan acababa de llegar a la ciudad, era su primer viaje en representación de la firma para la que trabajaba. Su jefe le había dicho que era una bonita ciudad y que la disfrutara mientras durara su estadía.

Ya casi era de noche; preguntó en la terminal por algún hospedaje cercano y el mozo de la estación le indico que muy cerca estaba un hotel barato llamado El Lobo y el Cordero.

Esta a unos pocos cientos de metros, puede usted ir caminando - le dijo.

El joven le agradeció y se encaminó a El Lobo y el Cordero. Había caminado unos 100 metros cuando un cartel iluminado llamó su atención: “CAMA Y DESAYUNO”. Se detuvo y observó por la ventana. Dentro se veía todo muy acogedor, un pequeño perro dormía junto al fuego de la chimenea y los muebles de la sala se veían muy cómodos. Lo pensó un momento, el frío le helaba las mejillas.

Tocó el timbre y casi al instante apareció en la puerta la dueña, quien le recibía con una amabilidad extrema. Al registrarse en el libro observo que solo habían anotados dos nombres antes del suyo, el registro del primero databa de hacia 2 años, el segundo del año anterior. Los nombres se le hacían familiares pero no lograba saber de donde o el por qué… De pronto se dio cuenta que el pequeño perro estaba disecado.

La dueña entró con una bandeja de té. Le sirvió una taza y le supo con un ligero gusto a almendras amargas, lo dejó sobre la mesa y peguntó:

No ha tenido mas huéspedes en los últimos dos años?

No querido, los otros dos huéspedes siguen aquí y ahora usted también se quedará.

Greetings to all the friends of the @worldofxpilar community and very especially to the creator of this exciting contest that week after week makes our imagination fly , our friend @adeljose!!!!

This time I want to share with you my story titled "THE GUEST HOUSE" with the idea of continuing to make life in this excellent community of #worldofxpilar and to share with the rest of wonderful fellow contestants.

As always it is a pleasure to enjoy week by week all the stories of the other participants which is a very pleasant experience.

Jonathan had just arrived in the city, his first trip on behalf of the firm he worked for. His boss had told him that it was a beautiful city and that he should enjoy it for the duration of his stay.

It was almost dark; he asked at the terminal for some lodging nearby and the porter at the station told him that very close was a cheap hotel called The Wolf and the Lamb.

It is only a few hundred meters away, you can walk there - he said.

The young man thanked him and walked to The Wolf and the Lamb. He had walked about 100 meters when an illuminated sign caught his attention: "BED & BREAKFAST". He stopped and looked out the window. Inside it all looked very cozy, a small dog was sleeping by the fire in the fireplace and the living room furniture looked very comfortable. He thought about it for a moment, the cold was chilling his cheeks.

He rang the doorbell and almost instantly the owner appeared at the door, who greeted him with extreme kindness. When he registered in the book he noticed that only two names had been written down before his, the first one dating from two years ago, the second one from the previous year. The names seemed familiar to him but he couldn't figure out from where or why... Suddenly he realized that the little dog was stuffed.

The owner came in with a tray of tea. She poured him a cup and tasted it with a slight bitter almond flavor, left it on the table and asked:

Haven't you had any other guests in the last two years?

No dear, the other two guests are still here and now you will also be staying.
