B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #152
Hi everybody,
with this post, I enter the B&W contest by @axeman.
I drew a bunch of overlapping leaves.
They are ordinary leaves, a little invented, because when I draw flowers, I always leave the leaves last and they end up being too childish and elementary. So I thought about doing an exercise for the leaves, but at the end of the work, I thought it could be a drawing in its own.
STEPS
I simply outline the shape of the leaves and then the internal veins with the pencil.
With a gray pencil, I draw the leaves on the surface of the lighter ones.
With a black pencil I draw the underlying leaves and make the shaded area darker.
I go on alternating gray and black. This is the finished drawing.
Also, I like to take the pictures from different angles.
Thanks for seeing the post. Any advice is welcome,
have a nice day to all.
