I must tell you that I recently came to steemit and I am getting to know this family, therefore, it is the first time that I write in this community, and it could not be otherwise than reflecting on a topic as important as self-love. Les envío un cariñoso saludo a todos los Steemians de esta gran comunidad @worldofxpilar. Debo decirles que llegué hace poco a steemit y me estoy familiarizando con esta red, por eso, es la primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad, y no pudo ser de otra manera que reflexionando sobre un tema tan importante como el amor propio. Self love: the most beautiful love story.
Amor propio: la historia de amor más bonita.
Firstly, it is important to speak of love as the greatest force in the universe, the one that moves us, inspires us, gives meaning to life, lifts us up and motivates us. Love represents the basis of our existence, it is essential to keep us alive and fully, to always see the positive side of what happens to us, to expand and transcend.
En principio, resulta importante hablar del amor como la fuerza más grande del universo, aquella que nos mueve, nos inspira, que le da sentido a la vida, nos levanta y nos motiva. El amor representa la base de nuestra existencia, es esencial para mantenernos vivos y en plenitud, para ver siempre el lado positivo de lo que nos pasa, para expandirnos y trascender.
Speak of self-love is to tell the most beautiful love story that exists: ours. Loving ourselves is the fundamental basis of our humanity, it is represented as the level of unconditional appreciation and acceptance that we have towards ourselves, it is the basis of our self-concept and the best predictor of psychological well-being.
Hablar de amor propio, es contar la historia de amor más bonita que existe: la nuestra. Amarnos es la base fundamental de nuestra humanidad, está representada como el grado de valoración y aceptación incondicional que tenemos hacia nosotros mismos, es la base de nuestro autoconcepto y el mejor predictor de bienestar psicológico.

The essential thing about self-love is to understand it not as a goal that we must achieve, but as a path, the lifestyle that we work and cultivate daily, loving each other at all times, accepting our mood changes, fulfilling the plans that we have promised ourselves, making ourselves responsible of our inner peace, reconciling ourselves with the past and with our history, fully living the present and removing anxieties for the future.
Lo esencial del amor propio es comprenderlo no como una meta que debemos alcanzar, sino como un camino, el estilo de vida que trabajamos y cultivamos diariamente amándonos en cada momento, aceptando nuestros cambios de ánimo, cumpliendo los planes que nos hemos prometido, haciéndonos responsables de nuestra paz interna, reconciliándonos con el pasado y con nuestra historia, viviendo plenamente el presente y alejando las ansiedades por el futuro.
By practicing self-love, I have learned to recognize myself as my best company, to give myself what I am willing to give to others, to choose the most positive and loving thoughts, to celebrate small and great achievements, to find my passion. Self love is also getting up in adversity, and in the most difficult moments, those where we doubt who we are, we are affectionate and understanding with ourselves, that we give ourselves the opportunity to start over as many times as necessary.
Practicando el amor propio he aprendido a reconocerme como mi mejor compañía, a darme a mi lo que estoy dispuesta a dar a los demás, a elegir los pensamientos más positivos y amorosos, a celebrar los pequeños y grandes logros, a encontrar mi pasión. Amor propio también es levantarnos en la adversidad, y que en los momentos más difíciles, esos donde dudamos de lo que somos, seamos afectuosos y comprensivos con nosotros, que nos demos la oportunidad de volver a comenzar las veces que sean necesarias.

Self-love is more than just looking good, it is feeling good and at peace with ourselves, it is consider others but being our main priority. Remember, you will not find in others the love that you don't give yourself, you are worthy of a pure, genuine and authentic love that can only come from you, from your essence.
El amor propio es más que sólo vernos bien, es sentirnos bien y en paz con nosotros mismos, es tomar en cuenta a los demás pero ser nuestra principal prioridad. Recuerda, no vas a encontrar en otros el amor que no te des a ti misma(o), eres merecedora(o) de un amor puro, genuino y auténtico que sólo puede venir de ti, de tu esencia.
