Photo of the week #136 | plots of the last day of spring

Why I photographed all this, I didn't really understand then, because I rarely successfully photograph people, and therefore I'm not fond of story photography. But on this day everything was going well, and people very conveniently appeared where I needed them. It's good that I did it once, and now I have something to show you on the topic of this contest.

Зачем я все это фотографировал, я тогда толком не понимал, потому что я редко удачно фотографирую людей, и поэтому не увлекаюсь сюжетной фотографией. Но в этот день все складывалось удачно, и люди очень кстати появились там, где мне было нужно. Хорошо, что я сделал это однажды, и теперь мне есть что вам показать по теме этого конкурса.

I remember that here, opposite the Kazan Cathedral, I bought a train ticket and went to say goodbye to the lions
on the Bank Bridge, and there I got stuck photographing the radiance of their renewed wings and then suddenly this man came out and the wings of the lions immediately became his wings. I even envied him then that he got into an interesting story like that.

Я помню, что здесь, напротив Казанского собора, я купил билеты на поезд и потом пошёл поздороваться со львами на Банковский мост, а там немного застрял фотографируя сияние их обновлённых крыльев и тут вышел вдруг этот человек и крылья львов сразу стали его крыльями. Я ему даже позавидовал тогда, что он вот так попал в интересную историю.

I walked home, because I was completely free, and took pictures of something along the way. So these girls got into my collection when I looked at the Palace Square to make sure that I would have time to escape from the city before it was completely disfigured. That year, a completely crazy design was planned for the city day, but what cannot be done for the sake of attracting tourists. However, one of the elements of this design served me well to get this photo.

Домой я шёл пешком, потому что был совершенно свободен, и по ходу что-то фотографировал. Так ко мне в коллекцию попали эти девчонки, когда я заглянул на Дворцовую площадь, чтобы убедиться, что я успею сбежать из города, пока её окончательно не обезобразили. В тот год к дню города планировалось совершенно безумное оформление, но чего не сделаешь ради привлечения туристов. Однако один из элементов этого оформления неплохо послужил мне для получения этой фотографии.

Walking along the embankment, I successfully caught this scene on a Winter groove. I didn't discolor these photos, but I shot them in black and white, constantly experimenting with settings, because I don't really understand photography techniques and do a lot of different things in the hope that something will work out.

Прогулявшись по набережной удачно поймал и этот сюжет у Зимней канавки. Я не обесцвечивал эти фото, а так и снимал в чёрно-белом режиме, постоянно экспериментируя с настройками, потому что в технике фотографирования мало разбираюсь и делаю много разного в надежде, что что-то да получится.

Before going to the Palace Bridge, I wanted to take pictures of these crazy cyclists who were in everyone's way. While I was switching to color, they, unfortunately, calmed down, but I like the photo without them with its completeness.

Перед выходом на Дворцовый мост мне захотелось сфотографировать этих безумных велосипедистов, которые всем мешали. Пока я переключался в цвет, они, к сожалению успокоились, но фото и без них мне нравится своей завершённостью.
