TULIPS

An incredible story can also hide inside a flower, which is reborn every year for a new beginning.

These wonderful tulips, born in my garden, for a total of 22 tulips, were only 5 originally.

Tulips are born from bulbs. These 5 bulbs are over 50 years old. They belonged to my great-grandmother, who planted them in my garden. It is gone now, but year after year they bloom in all their glory. Red, yellow, mottled. They have never been touched by the ground in which they were originally planted.

The tulip is a flower that symbolizes true love, suitable for declaring pure love. And each color has its own meaning, the yellow one is for the smile of one's beloved, the red one for love, the white one for pure love, the mottled one is dedicated to the beauty of the eyes.

We all connect tulips to Holland, but their origin is Asian, they came to Europe at the end of 1500 from the Palmir mountains. The name derives from the Turkish and indicates the "turban".
There are hundreds of varieties, much for the height they take, the shape of the petals, the colors. They can be streaked, fringed, variegated.

For the correct cultivation they place a house in pot or garden, and like the bulbous plants, they produce small bulbs from the mother bulb, for this reason if properly cared for, and if the ideal conditions, from a few bulbs year after year, many flowers can be generated.
