En esta oportunidad, me uno al concurso de esta semana: "Palabras inspiradoras" de la mano de @franyeligonzalez.

This time, I join this week's contest: "Inspirational words" by @franyeligonzalez.

Debo decir que me encantó esta idea y también la palabra elegida: "Madre", ya que se acerca su día le va como anillo al dedo y es una manera de expresar todo eso que pensamos y sentimos, aquí vamos...

I must say that I loved this idea and also the chosen word: "Mother", since her day is approaching it fits like a glove and is a way to express all that we think and feel, here we go.....

Madre

Según el diccionario y varias páginas de internet, el término "Madre", se refiere a aquella mujer que engendra a uno o más hijos. Pero, como dicen por ahí: madre no sólo es la que engendra, sino la que cría.

According to the dictionary and several internet pages, the term "Mother", refers to that woman who engenders one or more children. But, as they say out there: mother is not only the one who begets, but the one who raises.

Ser "Madre" es el trabajo más dificil de todos, y no todos lo valoran, porque ser "Madre" conlleva cambiar totalmente tu vida y tu forma de pensar por tus hijos, porque significa darlo todo por ver salir adelante a los que amas.

Being a "Mother" is the hardest job of all, and not everyone appreciates it, because being a "Mother" entails changing your life and your way of thinking for your children, because it means giving everything to see those you love succeed.

Quiero agradecerle gracias a Dios por tan increíble regalo porque me premió con una gran "Madre", esa que cuando estoy enferma no duda en salir a buscar los medicamentos que me hagan falta para sentirme mejor, esa que no duda en apoyarme cuando más lo necesito y cuando lo doy todo por perdido, esa que me regaña cuando es necesario porque se da cuenta que no estoy tomando las decisiones correctas para mi vida, esa que no dudó ni un segundo en dedicarse a mí y a mis hermanos aunque esa decisión significara dejar de pensar en ella y en lo que quería para su vida, esa que siempre trata de darnos lo mejor aunque haya poco, esa que es capaz de ver más allá de las situaciones o personas que pensamos que son buenas y que en realidad sólo nos harán daño, esa que daría hasta la vida por cada uno de nosotros con tal de vernos felices, esto sólo me hace pensar que no todos tienen la dicha de contar con una "Madre" como la mía, o con una buena Madre, porque, al referirnos a nuestras madres sólo podemos pensar en el amor incondicional que esto implica y luego del amor de Dios este es un amor puro y verdadero.

I want to thank God for such an incredible gift because He rewarded me with a great "Mother", the one who when I am sick does not hesitate to go out and get the medicines I need to feel better, the one who does not hesitate to support me when I need it most and when I give it all up for lost, the one who scolds me when necessary because she realizes that I am not making the right decisions for my life, the one who did not hesitate for a second to devote herself to me and my brothers even if that decision meant giving up thinking about her and what she wanted for her life, that one that always tries to give us the best even if there is little, that one that is able to see beyond the situations or people that we think are good and that in reality will only hurt us, that one that would even give her life for each one of us just to see us happy, this only makes me think that not everyone has the joy of having a "Mother" like mine, or a good Mother, because, when referring to our mothers we can only think of the unconditional love that this implies and after the love of God this is a pure and true love.
