This is my contribution to The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #142 COMPETITION WEEK #142 by @axeman
I want to show you some great photos of the beaches in my area, namely "Menye" Beach.
Menye is one of the most popular beaches in my area, Aceh. Indonesia.
And you know, this beach is not produced from the sea, but a large lake called the "fresh sea", and here the water is very cold, because it is blown by the cool breeze typical of the Gayo highlands.
Interestingly, this is the only lake tourist destination that has a shallow edge, so it can be used for children's swimming.
To get to that destination, it takes about 50 minutes from Takengon City, Central Aceh. If confused, then just ask the people in the city center.
On the right side of this beach stands a brown wooden building.
In front of the building, a pier was built in a curved shape like a boat jutting into Lake Laut Tawar.
