Today, the city of Mumbai in India is in the throes of catastrophic floods. Not just today, it has been raining heavily in Mumbai for several days. As a result, this rain has taken the form of a terrible flood in the city of Mumbai. I was watching on TV this afternoon in the news what kind of fatal situation has been created in the rain water of the whole city of Mumbai. It's as if the water is all around.
This kind of rain has not happened for many years, this year a kind of natural disaster has gripped people's lives in all aspects. Viruses on the one hand and natural disasters at different times on the other, all these combined to create a kind of disintegration of human life.
Looking at the streets of Mumbai, it seems as if a huge ocean has been created. The water level in the streets has risen due to the heavy rains, so much rain has caused landslides in some places and some dams have broken and water is flowing in different places.
It is raining with thunderstorms most of the time and at the same time there is occasional strong winds. As a result, the stalks of some trees are breaking in many places. The reason for this heavy rainfall is the deep depression in the Bay of Bengal, which has resulted in occasional light to heavy rainfall in all other places including Mumbai.
In Mumbai, however, it is raining at a relatively fast rate, causing floods all around. All the small shops, cars, etc. are floating on the road. Even 3 houses in Mumbai city have collapsed as a result of this heavy rain which I saw in the news. Everything is being severely damaged in this torrential rain.
A number of people in the city of Mumbai have also died due to the floods, which I heard through the news. Due to such natural calamities, the livelihood of many people has been cut off today, a kind of everything has been cut off. There is no way to do anything today. This year people are facing one terrible disaster after another, which is going beyond the power of man.
Seeing the horrific floods in the city of Mumbai, one can understand what has happened to the villages. If such a situation is found in the city as well, then many houses in the village are floating in the water today, according to statistics. The city of Mumbai recorded the highest rainfall in a single day today, the lowest in many years, according to the Meteorological Department.
