The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #186 - Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina
This photo was taken in Argentina and shows just a little part of Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia. This huge ice field is located in both Chile and Argentina. This Soutern Patagonia Icefield is the third largest mass of ice in the world. It became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1981. Perito Moreno is 400 kilometers in length and it's 80 kilometers wide.
