A couple of years ago I visitd both Namibia and South-Africa. Both countries have two wellknown national park which most often are on the lists of tourists. Both parks have varied landscapes and a wide variety when it comes to animals like elephant, giraffe, lions, cheetah, springbok, zebras and a lot more. It is very exciting to get up close to lions, leopards etc, but one of my favorite animals is the zebra. These photos are from two parks. Krüger National Park in South-Africa and Etosha National Park in Namibia.

One of the largest and most famous national parks is probably the Krüger National Park is the largest game reserve in South Africa and one of the most famous parks in Africa. To protect wildlife, it was established in 1898. There is a great diversity in terms of animal and plant species. It covers a total area of 18,989 km² and extends over 350 km from north to south. You can drive yourself. We did that. There were plenty of space and some stretces we were the only car on the road for hours.

Etosha National Park in Namibia was established in 1907. At that time, Namibia was a German colony. This park is popular too and wellknown wildlife sanctuary. The landscape is varied with a huge salt pan which is quite impressive because of its size. Also, after rain you will see a huge amount of flamingoes.

This conservation area is completely fenced in. The reason for creating a conservation area was done to protect the wildlife from poaching and hunting. Both are parks where you can enjoy seing the wildlife at your own pace.

Absolutely beautiful photography. I can understand the people there who decided to preserve the nature, without that we might have lost many species. Lovely picture with reflection in water :)

Thank you :) Unfortunatly many animals are endangered. In both countries they do a lot to avoid any further loss of animals. It is so much better to see wildlife in their natural habitats.
