Qurator's Photo Friday Competition #132 - Tibetan village
The photo was taken from the small village Tingri in Tibet. The altitude is 4.390 meters above sea level. It's not far from Mt.Everest, but from this point it's Cho Oya (8.188 m.) which is dominating the view. The photo was taken when we had a stop here for lunch when we were doing a roadtrip from Lhasa to Kathmandu in Nepal.

Interesting houses and vast area. For children might be real paradise freely run around. Looks like the weather was also great :)
It's only a small village, but life seems not to be in a hurry. People had time to stop and talk. The Himalayans towns have beautiful settings with the snowcapped mountains behind.
