That would be a nice travel idea. When you do remember to do your research as where it is safe to go and where not advisable.

That's a great advise @dianadee! I certainly will - better safe than sorry! I love nature, wildlife and good food so I am really looking forward to leaving Cape Town behind after few days to explore the wine region Franschhoek. Then drive to Oudtshoorn to get close to meerkats and ostriches, after that head to Plettenberg Bay for a dolphin encounter and finish it off with a few nights stay at Amakhala Game Reserve.
