My entry for contest - Ostriches on the Highway - hosted @mister-omortson.
As we drove up out of a river valley onto the long straight to the Kromme River, where we used to live, we suddenly came upon an unusual sight!
Instead of the usual herd of cattle or cows that we are used to stopping for, coming along the road were a flock of ostriches! We quickly took some pictures with our phone as they passed our car.
They were so close to our car, that we thought one might pop its head through the window and peck us, so we quickly closed it!
The farm adjacent to there was an ostrich farm and they were moving stock, from one camp to another.
By the way they are the biggest bird in the world

Guauuu la foto es muy buena. Las avestruces pueden hacer mucho daño con su pico. Tuvieron suerte de que solo pasaran de largo.
