What is nice to see is that after several hours, the price is holding somewhat steady above $0.50. So often these spikes are immediately followed by a steep decline back to where the price was previously.
I'm just glad to see the witnesses having a little more influence to change and improve things.
Yes, at least it showed again that Steem can become strong and reach much, the hope is that witnesses will do their best for the Steem and its users and from our side we will try to keep active :)
We're a little bit in the stage of "rebuilding after a storm" here, so patience will be required, but I think with new energy and some dedicated "real" witnesses things can go in the right direction.
