Right now, it "appears" to have slowed down, but I think that's mostly because BTC is mooning.
It definitely does help when the price is higher... I think what I valued most was being able to hand out 5-10c votes on worthy comments, AND meaningfully vote on favorite posts... and still not go much below 80% VP.
Let's hope it holds up!
