Photo of the week #118. The fence of a summer cottage in Sestroretsk
Hello friends!
I've been meaning to show you these photos for a long time, but never found the right occasion. So the WOX Community Photo of the Week theme from @mister-omortson came just in time. Well, here's the fence! Or is that too modest, is it? The word 'fence' isn't really the right word to describe a strong stone wall with oak gates and antique figures. But I can't think of a better word. I met this unusual architectural element during a walk around Sestroretsk. Both the house and fence were built relatively recently, in 1998, in the fashionable architectural style of retrospectivism. In some sources I have encountered other, older dates - but perhaps the authors of the articles have been misled by the accuracy of copying the manner of the old masters.

Давно собиралась показать вам эти фотографии, но всё не находила подходящего случая. Так что тема фото недели от @mister-omortson в сообществе WOX пришлась очень кстати. Итак, встречайте, изгородь! Или это слишком скромно, да? Не очень подходит слово “изгородь” для описания мощной каменной стены с дубовыми воротами и античными фигурами. Но слово более подходящее мне в голову не приходит. Я встретила этот необычный архитектурный элемент во время прогулки по Сестрорецку. И дом, и ограда построены сравнительно недавно, в 1998 году, в модном архитектурном стиле ретроспективизм. В некоторых источниках я встречала другие даты, более давние — но, вероятно, авторы статей были введены в заблуждение точностью копирования манеры старых мастеров.

так это типа в Розливе-Тарховке. Да, там очень скромненько живут, прислуги мало, всего человек 10-15. И заборы не такие высокие, и камер не хватает для слежки))))
Думаю, для отсидки камеры ждут ))
