Tiny Planet Photos I Took At The
Great Coxwell Barn, Oxfordshire
🌐

Hello. We visited the interesting location of the Great Coxwell Barn in Oxfordshire, England. This historical building dates from the end of the 13th-century and I took my 360 degree camera and took photos. I then converted and edited them into tiny planet and inverted tiny planet images.

The Great Coxwell Barn is a Medieval tithe barn on the northern edge of the village of Great Coxwell, 9 miles northeast of Swindon in neighbouring Wiltshire. It is the only surviving Medieval, Gothic carpentry, monastic tithe grange in England. In other words, it is a barn that was owned by the Cistercian monks of Beaulieu Abbey, who used it to collect grain from their tenant farmers.

It is the only building that survives from a 13th-century grange (farmhouses where religious establishments or feudal lord stored crops and tithes). What makes it interesting apart from the link we have from the past, there are no nails, screws or any other type of metal holding the beams together.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post and see you next time!
