Hello, hope you have a good weekend! This week, we visited Port Isaac, a working fishing village in Cornwall, in the south west of England. This location has become well-known because the British TV show Doc Martin was filmed there and it is the home of the famous sea shanty singers, the Fisherman's Friends.

Port Isaac is a small fishing village on the Atlantic coast in north Cornwall, England. It is known for its granite and whitewashed old cottages, working harbour and winding streets and has been a fishing village since the 14th century. During the summer months, tourists or holidaymakers flock to this location because of its quaint appeal, and also, as I mentioned, it is one of the filming locations of the British TV show Doc Martin and where the folk band, the Fisherman's Friends originated from.

It has a nice look and style to it and worth a visit. In the last photo, you can see a funny named location that I tracked down called Squeezy Belly Alley because, as you can see, it is very narrow!

A funny sign that I had to take a photo of, advertising fish and chips!

I will upload more posts and pictures of our adventures, including some information and history of the places we have visited.
