World of XPILAR - Portrait Content Submission

Here is my entry for the current portrait contest in the World of XPILAR community.

This is from my shoot with the stunning Kelly Harcourt. Despite the beach location it was a pretty cold and non glamorous Irish beach. Definitely far from the usual Miami beach type location you normally see with this style or portrait.

I shot it all very shallow DOF so the background was blurry. It gives a nice look to focus on the person in the shot, but also helps hide the location if it doesn't look how you want 😁
