The World Of XPILAR - Portrait Contest Week #050 Entry - The Stare

I love this shot with Greta, her intense stare just brings such a cool mood to the shoot. It also helps she has such an awesome and stunning look.

We shot this towards the end of the shoot. Its pretty common on shoots a model will bring some kind of babyoil or lotion and apply it lightly to their skin. It makes the skin really reflective when using studio lighting. Normally it has to be applied in moderation so it doesnt look too obvious.

At this stage of the shoot Greta had applied quite quite a bit so I just said to her we should make it a feature of the shot and add even more so her skin looked super wet and reflective. Thats the secret trick, just regular babyoil 😅
