Kora's Dedication - 3 Hours Sleep

This past weekend I also shot with Kora at the beach group shoot and I was so impressed with her dedication. Even on the build up to the shoot she was one of the few models who got in contact with me in advance to ask about styling ideas and if there was anything I needed her to bring along. Its simple things like that which show how enthusiastic somebody is, and its always very welcome to see.

Heres the best bit, during the shoot with Kora she mentioned something about being tired. I asked if she was up early for the shoot, but it turns out she had only flown in from Spain a few hours before the shoot. She managed to get 3 hours sleep and then spent the day on the beach working with various photographers to build up her portfolio.

If that was me on 3 hours sleep I'd be curled up in a ball asleep by lunch time, but she kept going, smiling and being full of energy for every shoot. Its a level of enthusiasm and dedication I don't see too often and it really made Kora stand out from the crowd. It also didnt hurt that she was an amazing model and incredibly nice to shoot with.

All shot on my Sony A7R mk3, mostly with a Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art lens, but the top shot was my new Sigma Art 24mm f1.4 Art lens. That was my first chance to try it out. Its super wide, and great for location shoots like this. Hope you like 😊
