Gabi lurks in the water
I love how photography can get you into the strangest places and situations.
Like here, it wasn't just the model in the water. I had seen similar shots where it was obvious the photographer was standing far away on dry land. Those can still be great shots, but here wanted a different perspective. We wanted this to feel like the viewer was in the water with Gabi in this creepy moody scene.
I'm really proud of this one. Mostly because it was so difficult to shoot. Its FREEZING cold in that lake, and Gabi did such an amazing job of hiding it in her expression. Thankfully not all shoots are quite so extreme 😁
