Baby update - 12 week scan - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So we've just had our 12 week scan and all is looking happy and healthy. Our new baby is due July 14th next year. I know 2nd babies are typically born a little early so we'll see how punctual this one is. Lily was born exactly on her due date.
We hadn't told any of our family yet so we took a few nice photos of the scan, and my wife got Lily a cute top that said "Big Sister" so we're going to share those with some family later tonight.
I just wanted to share it with the good folks of this community as I've received so much support this year so it felt natural to share the good news here.
Also given the day thats in it, hope you all have an AMAZING 2022, you all deserve it!!

👍 I've been told that'll be a nice gap for them to play (hopefully nicely) together when they're older.
Hi Dave and Jen, thank you for sharing this news with us, the ultrasound pictures are always so exciting especially at this stage when it is only the opportunity to see the baby. July is great month, summer and warm for spending time outside.
I can imagine that Lily will be grown up enough then to understand that there is a little baby and I can only assume that she will be very excited too.

Thank you so much @stef1. Its really exciting alright. At this stage with Lily the ultrasound wasnt too clear because Lily was so active in there. This baby was really calm on the day so it was really clear on the screen and the pictures. Just a few more weeks to wait and we'll find out if its a boy or girl. We've mentioned it to Lily a few times but she's probably still a bit too young to understand. Closer to the time I'm sure she'll have more of an understanding. Haha she'l certainly know once the baby arrives anyway 😅
