Influential in a dark generation. || Influyentes en una generación oscura.

If at this moment someone asks you who is the nicest person you have ever met? Surely your mind will begin a very complicated task to think of someone with this significant attribute.
In the same way if we wonder about someone pious and influential.
But God chose the foolish things of the world, to shame the wise; and the weak of the world chose God, to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is vile and despised in the world, and what is not, to destroy what is,
1 Cor 1.27-28
Throughout the Bible we find many people who, perhaps without being someone very important and influential in society, by a single decision became people remembered forever and marked the history of humanity.
We have the case of a barren lady who placed her trust in God and gave birth to a son named Samuel who was a prophet of Israel, it is the case of a prostitute named Rahab and as a result of her decision she became part of the seed of Jesus, A woman named Mary spilled an expensive perfume, the most valuable thing she had to honor Jesus and to this day there is memory of her as one of the acts of love before the Lord, It is the case of a widow who decided for God and Ruth finally had a grandson named David or the case of a man who responded to God's call by becoming the father of many people.
With these examples we can see ordinary people who have been influential, who changed the history of humanity completely, simple people but decided by God.
Many of us walk in this world of darkness believing that we are not perceived, but as long as we are connected to the source of life, the Lord is the one who makes us shine and through him we will change history.
This is the message that we have heard from him, and we announce to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him.

Si en este momento alguien le pregunta ¿Quien es la persona mas buena que ha conocido? Seguramente que su mente comenzará una tarea bien complicada en pensar en alguien con este atributo tan significativo.
De la misma manera si nos preguntamos acerca de alguien piadoso e influyente.
Sino que lo necio del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar a los sabios; y lo débil del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar a lo fuerte; 28 y lo vil del mundo y lo menospreciado escogió Dios, y lo que no es, para deshacer lo que es,
1 Co 1.27-28
A lo largo de la biblia encontramos muchas personas que quizás sin ser alguien muy importante en la sociedad e influyente, por una sola decisión pasaron a ser personas recordadas por siempre y marcaron la historia de la humanidad.
Tenemos el caso de una Señora estéril que depositó su confianza en Dios y dió a luz a un hijo llamado Samuel quien fue profeta de Israel, es el caso de una prostituta llamada Rahab y como resultado de su decisión pasó a ser parte de la simiente de Jesús, Una mujer llamada María derramó un perfume costoso, lo mas valioso que tenía para honrar a Jesús y hasta el día de hoy existe memoria de ella como uno de los actos de amor delante del Señor, Es el caso de una viuda que decidió por Dios y finalmente Ruth tuvo un nieto llamado David o el caso de un hombre que respondió al llamado de Dios convirtiéndose en padre de muchas gentes.
Con estos ejemplos podemos ver a personas comunes pero que han sido influyentes, que cambiaron la historia de la humanidad por completo, personas sencillas pero decididas por Dios.
Muchos marchamos en este mundo de tiniebla creyendo que no somos percibidos, pero mientras estemos conectados a la fuente de vida, El Señor es quien nos hace brillar y por medio de él cambiaremos la historia.
Este es el mensaje que hemos oído de él, y os anunciamos: Dios es luz, y no hay ningunas tinieblas en él.
