Today I would love to present you a very special Indian Art form, known as Pichwai paintings

#Pichwai paintings are large, devotional Hindu paintings that typically depict Krishna on cloth. The word pichwai comes from the Sanskrit words pichh (back) and wais (hanging), literally meaning "that which hangs from the back". These paintings are a traditional Indian art form that originated in the Nathdwara town of Rajasthan hundreds of years ago, and are part of the Mewar school of textile paintings. They are often used in homes and temples to express devotion to Lord Krishna, and are believed to bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to the place they are kept.

Pichwai paintings are known for their bright color palettes, which often include red, yellow, black, and green. They also feature relevant motifs and symbols, such as cows and flutes. In Pichwai paintings, cows are often depicted standing next to Krishna, who is known as the cowherd, to represent the abundance and prosperity that comes from a life devoted to Krishna. Flutes are another important symbol in these paintings

The Process::
In this Art session,First if all kids practice the design on paper.Then they draw it on canvas and do Mouldit work over it for making designs.
Then comes the coloring with acrylic colours and at last mirror work is done at the borders.

Iam really Proud to display the hard work of my students and loved their Creativity.
