It’s a beautiful Thursday, thank God we are alive too experience it. I was motivated during my early morning walk today, to draw this beautiful piece of artwork when I came across a young college student riding a bicycle down to school.

Among other beautiful things and activities I saw, this girl had more of my attention because around here, generally in Nigeria, it is difficult to see a college girl ride on a bicycle down to school. Boys are more likely to be in that situation, this doesn’t mean that girls/ladies don’t know how to ride a bike, it’s just hard to see them riding down to school.

It all happened fast that I couldn’t take her pictures, so I decided to make a sketch of a college girl on a bicycle, with the help of a reference picture though but I changed quite a lot while sketching and shading.

Here is a picture of a young college girl, on her red bicycle, putting on a red bag, a face cap and a nose mask. The shades were made with a blue, red and black pen in an hatching technique. I hope that you love the progress shot for the work.
