Today I bring you this little bee, one of the most important pollinators of flowering plants, which absolutely needs them to produce any type of seed or fruit.
This tireless worker shows us the pollen collected in her organ called" Corbicula ", intended for this purpose. Only females collect pollen and have corbicles.
The efficiency of honey bees lies not only in their physical condition, but also in the fact that they visit only one species of flower in each of their trips, in which they collect enough pollen for their own food and also for the needs of the group in which they live. In a single day they can visit thousands of flowers of the same species, collecting nectar and pollen and spreading the grains long and hard.
