Girl of the 20's - Portrait Sketch
Hey Trunks, how's it going!
Today I wanted to do something different, so I decided to take pencil and paper to practice a bit.
I started doodling faces of men and women to see if I liked any of them, when I drew a girl with short hair that inspired me. I then started doodling different styles of haircuts for ladies, when I remembered that popular one from the 20's that girls used to wear.
That's when I decided to do the following pencil sketch. But not before, I set my room with music from that time (1920), to be more inspired.

This was done beautifully and the music part got me. I am always playing old time reggae when making arts for It connects me a lot with my work. Glad to hear you get inspired too by oldies
It's always nice to meet different artists who have the same inspirational method as you. The style of music I listen to depends a lot on the style I want to infuse into the work. I have even listened to "Sonatas" and "Ballades" from Beethoven's time while drawing and it's a very interesting experience. Thank you very much for commenting and stopping by!
