I'm in Turkey every now and then because my best friend emigrated or moved back a few years ago together with his family. Many friendships fade with time, but even though we can now see each other only rarely for almost 5 years, the friendship is still constant. Istanbul is for me one of the most beautiful cities I could visit so far. Many places I already know, but every time I'm back I can discover something new. Sometimes I miss the old days where you only had to call and you could meet within 15 minutes. Now every meeting must be planned exactly, vacation must be submitted at work etc... Oh well...

Ich bin immer mal wieder in der Türkei da mein bester Freund vor einigen Jahren zusammen mit seiner Familie ausgewandert ist bzw. zurückgezogen. Viele Freundschaften verfließen mit der Zeit, aber obwohl wir nun fast 5 Jahre uns nur selten sehen können, ist die Freundschaft immer noch beständig. Istanbul ist für mich eine der schönsten Städte die ich bis jetzt besuchen konnte. Viele Orte kenne ich bereits, aber jedes Mal wenn ich wieder da bin kann ich etwas neues entdecken. Manchmal vermisse ich die alte Zeit, wo man nur anrufen musste, und man konnte sich binnen 15 Minuten treffen. Jetzt muss jedes Treffen genau geplant werden, Urlaub muss eingereicht werden auf der Arbeit etc.. Achja...
