ECB in Frankfurt at Night
ECB Building in Frankfurt - NYC inspired
This Photo is my entry for The World of XPILAR - Cityscape PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #115
I have already been in Frankfurt one or two times. Sometimes because there is a large airport and I flew from there on vacation, on business or because of the IAA. Besides the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, one of my special highlights is the ECB (European Central Bank) building. The gr0ße Euro sign has unfortunately the one or other sticker on the stars, these I have retouched. (Sometimes I wonder how people manage to climb to such heights.... :D
This edit is inspired by some pictures I saw from other photographers from the city of New York. A blue that almost fades into green and a very intense backlight, as if the whole city was still brightly lit.

Photogenic building, I'm sorry to say this, but it again falls to the right)))
Let's call it a style. 😇
The line guidance thus results in a trapezoid which I like better than a parallel guidance.
Let this be your signature style :)
You should definitely take a picture of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
It would be interesting to see it :)
Would you mind allign one of those photos they way you would do it and post it in the comments? Would be really interesting to see what it looks like. When I go on auto alignment with Lightroom there is not much change.
automatic alignment in Lightroom can be wrong, it takes one of the verticals as the starting line and does not always guess correctly.
In addition to alignment, I also usually use the transform function so that the lines are more or less parallel.
I did not correct the color or highlights / shadows, for this you need to have the original RAW file at your disposal.
Ah alright! Thank you for showing me how you would do it! Really appriciate it! :)
You are welcome 🖐️ 😊
