Drilling rig in the sea
This picture was taken during the crossing from Thassos to Kavala. The trip with the ferry takes about 90 minutes. Mostly you can only see the sea, so every object more or less catches your eye. This oil rig was actually quite far away. With my 70-300MM lens from Tamron (which is already 9years old), I could get the island quite close. On the lower right you can see smaller boats, I'm not quite sure if these have made a "trip" there, or if they are possibly even supply boats. Also possible would be that people come so to work?
Aufgenommen wurden dieses Bild bei der Überfahrt von Thassos nach Kavala. Die Fahrt mit der Fähre dauert ca. 90 Minuten. Meist kann man nur das Meer sehen, jedes Objekt sticht einem also mehr oder weniger ins Auge. Diese Bohrinsel war tatsächlich recht weit weg. Mit meinem 70-300MM Objektiv von Tamron (das ist bereits 9Jahre alt), konnte ich die Insel aber recht nahe ran holen. Rechts unten sieht man kleinere Boote, ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob diese einen "Ausflug" dahin gemacht haben, oder ob es eventuell sogar Versorgungsboote sind. Ebenfalls möglich wäre, dass Leute so zur Arbeit kommen?

Oh wie cool! Würde mich ja mal interessieren, wie es auf so einer Insel aussieht. Wird sicherlich sehr laut sein, aber sicherlich hoch interessant!
