Hii my fellow Steemians, I'm soo happy to have bumped into this contest and in today's contest I would be as creative as possible in narrating a short fictional story based on the Genre "Love and Romance" Titled:

The King's Ball.

Once upon a time in the city of Rome, there lived a young,tall and elegant young called Steve who lived by a code of dignity and honor.

This 26 year old was so hard working that he went to people's farm everyday to work for money as he was the only child born to his parents who were so old and wretched that they barely ate 2 square meals daily. This made him determined to keep working hard.

It is August 22nd today and the morrow marked the King's 91st birthday. Everyone in the Kingdom knew that the king had no son hence no apparent heir to his throne once he's gone. King Arthur had a pretty damsel of a daughter named Juliet whose beauty attracted wealthy, handsome, and promising looking men. Kings and Princes from neighboring kingdoms always came to seek her hand in marriage and yet the Princess rejected their offers, this made his father the King really sad as he is now counting his days to live, He really wanted to crown the next king before he kicks the bucket. This made him announce a huge Ball party at the palace of Rome that would draw attention of every and any kind of man that a woman could deem worthy of her heart.

Well it is now 23rd Eve, the ceremonial. Every young Man both great and small, black and white, rich and poor, far and near were present at the Ball. When it was time for the important part of the ball the king made a toast and made an important announcement saying "Whoever That Could sing and Win The Heart of his darling princess Would Be The Next King of The kingdom".

Just then everyone began taking turns in singing and the princess began observing the crowd and just in, this young man came in nailed it with his job pitched, sweet and melodious voice. It was his Prince Charming and everyone could observe the manner she was steadily focused, enjoying every bit of the moment and just then the king noticed the daughter smiling at the young fellow, she just couldn't take her eyes off him.

The King beckoned on the young man, making the music come to a halt, the young man approached the king. The King then asked for the young Lad's name. behold, it's the wretched Steve, whose mother Naomi was the king's best childhood friend who had the sweetest and most enticing voice that good the attention of the queen.

The King quickly ordered that the maidens showered him and gave him the finest of his Royale Robes and Jewelries. A wedding was held that same night and the crowning ceremony followed up in the morning or the morrow. The newly crowned King Steve lived happily ever after with his Wife Juliet and gave birth to 2 adorable sons and one daughter.
