B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST | Wild Wasteland

Flying in the plane, from above the ground down there looked like a delicate tapestry woven of living threads and intricate patterns. Rivers meandered across the landscape like silver snakes cutting through fields and forests, while lakes glistened like gems scattered indiscriminately. From this height the world seemed both familiar and new, its familiar outlines transformed into abstract forms.

Scattered along the shoreline, a series of monochrome images painted a scene of tranquility and beauty. The sun cast long shadows on the golden sand, creating contrasting shapes that danced on the waves. The sea, endless and mysterious, reflected the sky above, merging the two worlds in harmonious balance.

Rocks jutted out before me, stark and majestic, standing like sentinels over the landscape. Their towering silhouettes stood out sharply against the soft gray of the ocean, testifying to the eternal struggle between land and water. Between them stretched hills, the slopes gently sloping down to the coast, adding a touch of life to the otherwise muted landscape.

These black and white photographs captured the essence of nature - its timeless beauty, constant change and the eternal dance between light and dark. They served as a reminder of the simplicity and beauty that can be found in even the simplest of things, inviting us humans to seek our own sanctuary amidst the chaos of life.
