Flying people

They don't come from outer space, they are born here, but their hearts are simply more crystalline than sound. and look, here they are, flying over balconies with laundry, over the mud, over the cinders in the yard, and it's good to meet units at least of the type of flying people! And we somehow push and women drag us, and we drink our cognac in some private corner, and we talk about nonsense, with a significant scrunch of the nose, or with an expression of snobbish weariness, and we try not at all to talk about the kind of people flying. And it's true that they're not from the real world, they don't meet at tennis, they don't have their own Fiat, but then why does something here hurt us when we see them flying in the open space - lest they remind us that we too were of the flying people type?
