My lovely Steemians how are you today? I hope you are as fine as I am. I remain @caringmanasseh your friend. Today I want to draw a portrait of a lady. I appreciate @xpilar for organising this weekly contest. I hope you will like my pencil sketch today. Thank you.

Materials for my drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began my drawing from the head of the lady. I drew the forehead, the cheek, the lower jaw and the ear. I also outlined her hair

Step 2
At this stage, I drew the neck, shoulder, chest and collar of her shirt.

Step 3
I drew the hand of the shirt, the second line of her collar and a line on her shoulder.

Step 4
I drew the eyes, nose and mouth of the lady

Step 5
I drew the eyebrow

Step 6
I began shading the hair of the lady

Step 7
I continue the shading of the hair

Step 8
I drew the eyelid and eyelashes and I also coloured the lips of the lady. Finally, I shaded her neck.
